President Joe Biden said he agrees with the assessment that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin is a “killer.”
In an interview with ABC News broadcast on Wednesday, Biden said Putin will “pay a price” for allegedly trying to undermine Biden’s candidacy in the US 2020 election.
Asked if he thought Putin is “a killer,” Biden said, “I do.”

In reaction, the speaker of Russia’s lower house of parliament on Wednesday denounced US President Joe Biden for agreeing with an assessment that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin is a “killer”.
“Biden insulted the citizens of our country with his statement,” State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin wrote on his Telegram channel, adding that attacks on Putin are “attacks on our country”.
