Afrobeats superstar Davido is set to close the year with a massive celebration in Côte d’Ivoire.
The megastar has confirmed he will be performing at the highly anticipated 5th edition of the Mother Africa Festival, scheduled for December 27 and 28 in Marcory Zone 4, Abidjan.
Promising an explosive set, the music icon expressed excitement to reconnect with his Ivorian fanbase and bring the curtain down on the year with unmatched energy.
Davido’s confirmation, comes as he shared the teaser video of his latest song featuring his wife, Chioma on social media with the caption “Already Falling. From us to you. “
Speaking of the upcoming event, the “Timeless” hitmaker said: “From Lagos to Abidjan, we’re ending the year strong! I’m performing at Mother Africa Festival on the 27th and 28th of December in Abidjan, Marcory Zone 4. 5th edition anniversary year, it’s going to be special. Ivory Coast, I know how you move. I come with all the energy, we’re closing the year together right!”
The Mother Africa Festival, which marks its fifth anniversary this year, has established itself as one of West Africa’s premier end-of-year music gatherings.
With Davido leading the line-up, concertgoers in Abidjan can expect a high-octane spectacle filled with his global hits, setting the stage for one of the biggest festive-season concerts in the region.
