Nestlé CEO Says Cash-Strapped US Shoppers Make Market Tough

Nestlé Chief Executive Officer, Philipp Navratil, has said that cash-strapped consumers in the United States are making the market challenging for the food and beverage company.

Navratil made the remarks during an interview, where he discussed Nestlé’s better-than-expected third-quarter earnings and the company’s performance across different markets.

The interview also focused on growth opportunities in emerging markets and the financial pressures affecting US consumers.

Navratil further discussed the company’s deconsolidation in Russia, addressing another key issue affecting Nestlé’s business operations.
