Nigeria Probing Hospitals Accused of Negligence in ‘Complex’ Deaths, Says Consumer Protection Boss Irukera

Nigeria’s Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) says it hopes to move swiftly in concluding an investigation into a “possible violation of patient and consumer rights” in the deaths of Peju Ugboma, a popular pastry chef, and Omolara Omoyajowo.
Babatunde Irukera, the commission’s chief executive officer, stated this when he featured on ARISE News on Tuesday.
